Leon Paasch ist 14 Jahre alt und lebt in Lindau am Bodensee. Anstatt eines der üblichen Ab-
schlussprojekte für die Schule hat er sich etwas Besonderes einfallen lassen – einen Radtrip für den Artenschutz. 160 Kilometer lang ist die Strecke von Lindau über Bregenz, Konstanz Meersburg zurück nach Lindau. Für jeden gefahrenen Kilometer Spenden zu sammeln – das war das erklärte Ziel von Leon – und zwar für das Projekt Flower-Kids der Bodensee-Stiftung.
20. April 2024, 7.45 Uhr. Das Abenteuer beginnt. Unterstützt von zwei „Radprofis“ Laura Lerner und Carla Schweizer geht es los Richtung Bregenz, wo schon die ersten Gleichgesinnten warten, um Leon ein Stück auf seinem Weg zu begleiten. Auch die Medien sind da und ein Filmteam ist vor Ort.
13.30 Uhr Ankunft in Konstanz. Stärken, regenerieren und ab mit der Fähre nach Meersburg. Ankunft Hafen 15.05 Uhr. Schaulustig warten schon und feuern Leon an. Nochmal alles geben, ist die Devise. Auf den letzen Kilometern werden es immer mehr, die Leon mit dem Rad folgen. Endspurt bis ins Ziel auf der Insel Lindau.
Geschafft! Es ist 20 Uhr.

Leon Paasch is 14 years old and lives in Lindau on the Lake of Constance. Instead of one of the usual end-of-school projects, he came up with something special -
a cycling trip for biodiversity. A 160 km route from Lindau via Bregenz, Constance and Meersburg back to Lindau. Leon's aim was to collect donations for every kilometer cycled - for the Flower-Kids-Project of the Bodensee-Stiftung.
April 20th, 2024, 7.45 am. The adventure begins. Supported by two “professional cyclists” Laura Lerner and Carla Schweizer, he sets off towards Bregenz, where the first like-minded people are already waiting to accompany Leon on his journey. The media are also there and a film crew is on site.
1.30 pm arrival in Constance. Little time to regenerate and off on the ferry to Meersburg. Arrival at the harbor at 3:05 pm. Fans are already waiting and cheering . The motto is to give it all again. Over the last few kilometers, more and more people follow Leon on his bike. End spurt to the finish line on the island of Lindau.
Done! It iss 8 pm.
